Connecting with headquarters

EUNIC Focal Points are colleagues based at EUNIC members’ headquarters who are responsible for working on EUNIC activities. They serve as key contact points for both the EUNIC office and for cluster colleagues across the network.

Make sure to connect with your respective Focal Point to seek support and advice, and to keep them informed about your cluster’s activities.

Not sure who your Focal Point is at headquarters level?

The EUNIC Mobility Scheme

Since 2019, the EUNIC Mobility Scheme has enabled colleagues - whether based at EUNIC members’ headquarters or in clusters - to exchange knowledge and learn from each other through visits of up to one week.

Each year, the scheme is organised via two calls: one in spring for hosting offers, followed by a call for participants. Participants are matched to visits based on their preferences, geography, thematic interests, and areas of expertise.

The Mobility Scheme offers opportunities for expert colleagues to connect and exchange on specific topics, for clusters within the same country or region to organise joint meetings and develop shared strategies, and for colleagues to gain insight into how other EUNIC members operate - both at headquarters and at cluster level.

Regional Cluster Seminars

Since 2016, the EUNIC office has been organising regional meetings for representatives of clusters to address questions related to EUNIC, the management of clusters, EU and international cultural relations, and questions related to developing working relationships with EU Delegations. There are up to four seminars a year, covering each region of the world on a rotational basis.

These meetings are also a great opportunity for colleagues working in the same region to get to know each other, explore shared challenges and relevant topics, and to create regional bonds. Usually, one representative per clusters is invited to these regional cluster seminars.

Webinars

We regularly organise webinars, including sessions specifically tailored for clusters. These include onboarding webinars for new cluster presidents, strategy and communication workshops, and information sessions on funding opportunities. Other webinars are open to the wider network and address key topics in cultural relations and the EUNIC network.

Most webinars are short, informative sessions held online via Zoom. Recordings are usually available on request.

Knowledge Sharing Workshops

Our Knowledge Sharing Workshops are hosted by EUNIC members and offer space for professional exchange on current topics, strategic decisions, operations, and management. These workshops bring together senior staff from across the network - and sometimes external stakeholders - to explore key issues relevant to strengthening our work and collaboration.

All EUNIC members are invited to propose workshop topics. Depending on the format, audience, and theme, workshops can take place either online or in person.
