EUNIC - European Union National Institutes for Culture
EUNIC is the network of European organisations working in cultural relations. We build a collective international cultural relations approach amongst our members, to strengthen trust and understanding internationally through culture. We advocate for the role and recognition of culture as core component of international relations.

Our global network of clusters
Together with our partners, we bring European cultural collaboration to life. Our network of 140 clusters in 108 countries draws on the diverse experience of our members from all EU Member States and associate countries.
We’re guided by values of fairness, mutual respect, solidarity, and a shared commitment to cultural diversity. EUNIC clusters are at the heart of this work - building strong connections with local civil society, and with creative and cultural communities around the world.
What is a EUNIC Cluster?
EUNIC clusters are local groupings of EUNIC member organisations, set up in cities where at least three full members are present. They can work at a city-wide or national level.
Clusters are usually named after the country they operate in (like EUNIC Jordan). If there’s more than one cluster in a country, they’re named after the city instead (like EUNIC Brasília). Each cluster represents the wider EUNIC network and works closely with local partners to co-create cultural activities and projects.
